A free website check, reviewed by a person.

Send your web address. We run the checks, then I go through every result myself and email you what I found, in plain words, within 2 working days.

Free, no obligation. We only look at what your customers can see. No logins needed. See an example check.

Show me what I’m missing

Daniel, founder of Cleargate Studio

Daniel, founder.
I review every check myself before it goes to you.

What you get back

  • What’s worth fixing, each with what would help
  • What already works, so you know what to leave alone
  • For every point: where we saw it and how we checked
  • My own notes, and if it’s useful, a short screen recording of your site
  • All of it in writing. A 15-minute call only if you’d like one

What I look at

Your website

  • Speed on a phone, with Google’s own test
  • Whether it fits a phone screen, with text and buttons big enough to use
  • A phone number people can tap to call
  • The basics Google reads: page title, description, and whether Google may list you
  • A secure connection (https)

How customers reach you

How easy it is for customers to get in touch

  • Whether people can message you: text, WhatsApp, Messenger or chat
  • After hours: what a customer can do when you can’t pick up
  • Booking or asking for a quote online
  • Ways to reach you besides the phone
  • Your Google reviews: I look at your profile myself

What happens next

  1. You send your web address

Four short fields, about a minute.

  2. We run the checks, I review them

I take out anything that doesn’t hold up, and add my own notes.

  3. You get an email from me within 2 working days

Then it’s up to you. If you don’t want anything more, that’s fine.

Why it isn’t instant

A tool can’t tell which findings matter for a business like yours, and sometimes it gets things wrong. So I read every result before it reaches you, and nothing goes out that I wouldn’t stand behind.

Ask for your free check

Four fields, nothing more. You hear back from me within 2 working days.

Is it really free?

Yes. No card, no catch. The results are yours to keep, whether or not you ever work with us.

Will you keep emailing me?

No. You get the results, and we won’t email you again unless you reply. Reply “unsubscribe” at any time and you won’t hear from us again.

Do you promise more customers or a better Google ranking?

No. The check says what we found and what would help. Nobody can honestly promise a ranking or a number of new customers.

Will you change anything on my site?

No. We read your public pages the way a visitor’s browser does, and follow your site’s robots.txt. Google’s speed test loads your homepage once from Google’s own servers. We never log in or send your forms.

How we use what you send

  • Who: Cleargate Studio, a trade name of 0xDB LLC, 1603 Capitol Ave., Suite 310, Cheyenne, WY 82001, USA, collects and holds it. Contact: Daniel, hello@cleargatestudio.com.
  • What: your web address, name, email and type of business, then the public pages of your website and the results of our checks. We don’t keep your IP address.
  • Why: to check your website, write up the results and email them to you. We won’t email you again unless you reply, and we don’t add you to a mailing list.
  • Who sees it: me, and the companies that run our tools for us: Cloudflare, which runs this site and stores your request; Google, whose email service we send your results from; and Anthropic, whose AI tools we use to run our software. Google’s PageSpeed Insights also receives your web address to test its speed. Your details are stored in the United States and on my own computer, outside New Zealand, and these companies may not be required to protect them in the way New Zealand law does.
  • Optional: it’s up to you, but all four fields are needed: without them we can’t do the check or write it for your kind of business.
  • Your rights: you can ask to see or correct what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, at hello@cleargatestudio.com. We delete your request and the check 6 months after our last email, unless you become a client. This follows New Zealand’s Privacy Act 2020. Our full privacy notice.
